Study Conceptualisation and specification of social effects (benefits) of institutional service transformation into community services in the Czech Republic (2012)
The aim of the study was to develop a methodological framework for specification of social effects that will be brought to Czech society by deinstitutionalisation of social services aimed at disabled people in the Czech Republic. The overview of methods utilizable for quantification or monetary evaluation of separate social effects of deinstitutionalisation is supplemented by a literature search, which documents the state of the art of confirmation, quantification and monetary valuation of separate social effects in the Czech Republic and foreign countries. The study discusses the appropriateness of benefit transfer of monetary values from foreign studies into the setting of the Czech Republic and provides a suggestion of most suitable methods for complex evaluation of deinstitutionalisation of social services.
The study was carried out for the National Centre for Support of Social Services Transformation.
