Economic evaluation of mobility in order to minimize the risk of emissions
Analysis, comparison and evaluation of impacts of emissions from different transport modes on health and the environment and the means to mitigate them.
Economic evaluation of mobility in order to minimize the risk of emissions
The aim of the project is to analyze, compare and evaluate the impact of emissions from different transport modes on health and the environment. Emerging modern mobility means will be also explored.

Project description
The project consists of the following steps:
- definition of assessed risks and pollutants
- setting up inventory of emission sources
- review and evaluation of existing methodologies and models
- definition of indicators for assessing different modes of transport and mobility
- design of optimal modelling procedures
- modelling of emissions and dispersion
- critical evaluation of exposure-response relationships for human health - effects, effects on ecosystems and materials
- review of the monetary value for identified categories of impacts
- quantification of external costs for different transport modes
- review of support schemes for reduction of hazardous emissions
- evaluation of effectiveness of selected support schemes
