In this seminar Ulrich Dettweiler will briefly review theoretical foundations of the outdoor education and then propose an epistemological model that allows to understand the different approaches to research (quantitative/qualitative) from a pragmatist perspective. From there, he will give a few examples of our empirical work and discuss the findings within the above framework.
