Charles University Environment Center is pleased to invite you to a discussion panel  Can we afford green policies during an economic downturn? The perceived trade-offs between environmental / climate policy and economic growth taking place on Wednesday 27 June 2012, 15:30-17:30, at University of Economics, Winston Churchill sq. 4, Prague 3, Room no. RB 101.

Keynote presentation will be delivered by Reyer Gerlagh, professor of environmental economics at Tilburg University, currently coordinating lead author of the fifth assessment report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC WG III). The other discussants  on perceived trade-offs, win-win solutions and consequences of stringent economic policies for environmental / climate policy are:
