What we offer
• consultation with the centre’s scientific staff; involvement in centre research projects
• possibility to use technical equipment and licenced software
• possibility to use the centre’s offices and rooms
• ability to do dissertation and thesis work as part of a research internship
• confirmation of successful completion of internship for your employer or university. The centre provides study internships, for example, to students from the Sociology Department of Charles University’s Faculty of Philosophy, or the Institute of Sociology Studies from Charles University’s Faculty of Social Sciences.
Conditions
• internships are usually of a limited duration and last several months
• all costs associated with an internship (e.g. travel, accommodation) are paid by the intern himself or herself. The centre can provide confirmation of conditional acceptance for an internship as the basis for an application for funds for an internship from a third institution
• the centre does not provide any allowance for completing an internship. An intern may obtain an allowance of a symbolic nature only in exceptional cases and only in the event of his or her involvement in managing a centre research project.
