TAČR supported our project "Strategic options for financing nature conservation through selected economic instruments" which will be solved by COŽP UK in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of Charles University and DHP Conservation s. r. o. for the Ministry of the Environment.
The project aims to propose a strategic approach for traditional economic instruments (fees and taxes), to strengthen and stabilize nature and landscape conservation financing. The project uses an interdisciplinary approach: legal and financial/economic analysis of current practices in the Czech Republic and the EU; biophysical-economic modelling and ecosystem service assessment; qualitative data collection of experiences and recommendations from stakeholders, with the focus on facilitating consensus.
