The course introduces in detailed form the basic economic assumptions and procedures in cost-benefit analysis processing, especially when we evaluate the economic efficiency of environmental projects.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- carry out individually cost-benefit analysis in practice;
- compute shadow prices, option and existence value;
- estimate social discount rate, net present value;
- realise risk analysis.
